1. Who we are
These Terms govern your use of entrust-docs.com and the Entrust-Docs service, operated by Entrust-EP LLC (“Entrust-Docs,” “we,” “us”). By purchasing or using the service you agree to these Terms.
2. No attorney-client relationship
Entrust-Docs provides legal documents and document assembly. It does not provide legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship. No communication with Entrust-Docs, and no use of this service, makes us your lawyers.
The documents provided were prepared by a licensed attorney for general use. They have not been reviewed against your specific circumstances, and no attorney has exercised independent professional judgment about your situation.
If you need advice about your particular circumstances, consult an attorney licensed in your state.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. The young adult whose documents are being prepared must be at least 18 and must have the legal capacity to sign the documents.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, both about yourself and about the young adult.
4. What you receive
Upon purchase and completion of the guided process, you receive:
- A healthcare power of attorney
- A HIPAA authorization
- A financial power of attorney
- A FERPA authorization for educational records
- Guided instructions and educational materials
- Online notarization where the documents require it
Documents are currently provided for Texas only. We do not guarantee that any document will be accepted by any particular institution, hospital, school, or financial institution — acceptance is at their discretion and subject to their own policies.
5. Notarization
Online notarization is provided by a third-party notarization provider, DocuSign Notary, subject to their terms and their identity verification requirements. The young adult must be able to complete that provider’s identity verification. We are not responsible for a notarization that fails because identity verification could not be completed.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate and complete information; to review the documents before signing; to ensure the young adult signs voluntarily and with understanding; and to store and distribute the executed documents appropriately.
7. Payment
The price is stated at checkout and is charged in full at the time of purchase. Payment is processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card details.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Intellectual property
The documents, templates, guidance and educational materials are our intellectual property or licensed to us. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the completed documents for the young adult named in them. You may not resell, redistribute, or use the templates to produce documents for others.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranty that a document will achieve a particular result or be accepted by a particular institution.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the document assembly and delivery service is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Parker County, Texas, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a revised “last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
